Despite the credit crunch affecting everything around us, the Jerusalem Winter Ball committee is determined to put together yet another fantastic event for 2009.

Like every year, we have chosen to support Israel’s Table to Table charity. Day and night, Table to Table rescues excess, unserved food that would otherwise be destroyed from catered events, bakeries, army bases, perishable food manufacturers, farmers and packinghouses. Table to Table then transports the food to non-profit organizations throughout Israel serving people in need.

Due to the fragility of the economic situation we are offering two solutions for those attending the Jerusalem Winter Ball 2009: Purchase a ticket for 250 nis OR buy your ticket at cost for 200 nis and donate two hours of your time to this great charity.

We feel this is the best way this year to acknowledge tough times, but at the same time, still give the opportunity for everyone to still support our chosen charity.

The 2009 Jerusalem Winter Ball is just around the corner. With only two months to spare, The JWB team is sharpening all of the details and checking off our ‘To Do Lists’ to make this ball even better than the last. After all- that is the law of evolution, to continuously improve and grow no?

For 2009, the JWB team is excited to bring a fresh face to an old tradition. Dust off your dancing shoes and dress to impress, it’s going be a top night out. Here are the details:

The 2009 Jerusalem Winter Ball is on its way and if you thought the 2008 Ball was something special, just wait untill you hear what we have planned for this year.

Details are still sketchy and work has just started, but the ideas are flowing and the preperations have just begun.

The important decisions like which charity we’ll benefit, where the Ball will be held and what the date the party will be are all being decided upon. Check back here soon and as soon as we know, we’ll let you know.
